Long Covid rehab service could end due to falling number of sufferers

Our local LC clinic was defunded and closed, and a new assessment service was set up, but didn't tell anyone. If no one knows it exists, they don't ask for referrals. So now ours is closing due to insufficient referrals. Which is not the same as insufficient patients.

There still appears to be a psychology service though, which I understand may be focusing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy .

Apparently there is an ongoing legal dispute over the release of the DWP's ME/CFS, LC & FM assessment manuals for PIP. The ICO has ruled that at least some of the material should be released; the DWP is appealing.

He’s brave going to South America, I hope his health holds enough for him to enjoy it. I went to the Caribbean during some years of remission, it’s good to do it when you get the chance.
