That's a lot of services that produce absolutely zero difference in outcome compared with health care systems that have no such thing. Such as here in Quebec, where we have no such services. It's just as bad here as it's in the UK. In fact, it's pretty much identical, in a 0=0 kind of way.

Truly an impressive level of mediocrity. Because that's a lot of services. And it makes zero difference. Which no one involved in the services seem to mind, so you actually have two problems.

Yes. Also, the UK patient charities could be loudly and bluntly be saying, "look at the waste of money. These services are achieving nothing, in fact they are probably achieving net harm." But they don't, presumably believing that the services might magically become useful one day. In fact, some even cosy up to them e.g. the association with Gladwell, and do their work for them e.g. paying for the development of flawed tools that will be used to show how useful the clinics are.

It would be interesting to know what the “offer” of each service is. I know what it is for the Royal Free in Hampstead but I don’t think they’re listed.

Basically - 12 week course held online, 2 hours session each week (!) 1 hour group discussions on pacing with a psych, 1 hour group physiotherapy with a physio.

so we can say yes, there are clinics but they will see mild/moderate for 3 months then discharge back to GP.
