Could the crowdfund for David Tuller be put on front page of forum for this month.? I'm sure it is on everyone's mind but just in case it would serve as a reminder to all.
We don't really have a 'traditional' front page to the forum, however I could add an additional banner advertising the crowdfund in the same way as our regular one advertises the News in Brief posts? e.g.

Like all banners, this one can be dismissed by clicking the "x" at the far right hand side of it (which I've cut off of the example above).

Done.

It went up.

(I seem to remember that it stalled quite significantly and that it was mainly a few large donations near the end that shoved it over the line, but I may be wrong)

I wonder if some people hold off until nearer the end of the campaign to see what the trajectory is looking like before deciding whether to donate or how much.

That seems logical - why donate scarce money if it's already on target.

To hold back until it appears it's definitely necessary to make the sacrifice would seem to suggest that most of the people giving can't actually afford to.

But do it anyway, once it appears it is necessary to hit target.

Or that people are largely having to cut back to save money for this, then just before the deadline donate what they have managed to save.
