In (q) you've written 'research finding' instead of 'research funding'.

@Trish what a brilliant job you’ve done on this. I hope the researcher learns something from reading your letter

    An excellent letter @Trish.

Would it be worth sending to NICE? It is a great summary of the situation PwME face.

I've just added some references. I'll make it an open letter and put it in out open letters forum and tell him I'll publish his reply.

Thanks for positive feedback. Not sure there's any point sending it to NICE. They are rightly only interested in published research.

He's going to regret altering the age group @Trish.

This is a great letter. I like this letter very much.

I hope it's a learning experience on the other end.

    It's a terrific letter Trish.

I did send a brief note to Amelia Wright, the trainee clinical psychologist doing the survey, last night - nothing like your letter, mostly just an invitation to join us here and a recommendation to get input from patients before finalising surveys.

Amelia has responded already, with thanks for constructive feedback and interest in engaging with the forum. So, all credit to her for not just ignoring critical feedback, which so many do.

    Included in her reply:

Hopefully she will join us here.

"""Difficulties with interpretation and methodology will be considered and discussed in the final report."""

The data is worthless. (Having to do with the nature of collection, not necessarily the questions.)
