UK: Action for ME: Sign our letter calling to halt the disability tax

Posting this as I'd imagine a huge number of us would be negatively affected by this tax if it comes in.
Action for M.E. Chief Executive Sonya Chowdhury has written an open letter to the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, opposing plans for a new tax for online shopping.

A new tax like this will disproportionately affect those with a disability, including people with M.E. We believe that this amounts to a tax on disability. We are calling on the Government to abandon plans for a blanket tax and meet with us to discuss who they can ensure disabled people are treated equally.

This suggestion of an online sales tax had passed me by so I did a search. Apparently it's suggested 2% tax on all online sales in the UK.

I don't think it will happen
In April the British government introduced a new “digital services tax” to raise money from some of the internet giants, such as social media companies and online platforms. That policy has antagonised the US because it lands heavily on American companies such as Google, Facebook and Amazon.

But an online sales tax would be more controversial because it would impose a tax on a potentially more efficient form of retailing, hitting not only tech giants.
