Not that having such a history should make any difference. Mental illness does not confer immunity to physical illness.

Would this very brief summary of your thoughts, @Jonathan Edwards, be accurate and maybe clear up some confusion?

I am not sure. I don't want to appear to be telling anyone what to do. I am just trying to point out that there may be unexpected consequences of our actions and that we should all take responsibility for those actions.

But the label can make you less " believable" if you present with one .
