I'm not sure that their descriptions of severe/very severe are accurate. I'm also surprised that a group of physios would use the term 'wheelchair bound' to describe a wheelchair user. They only mention wheelchairs in the severe/very severe descriptions but I found a wheelchair useful when I was more moderate. For many who are very severe, using a wheelchair can be too much.

    Text from the website:

Severe - You maintain the ability to carry out minor daily activities such as cleaning your teeth and getting dressed. However, you may occasionally need a wheelchair and regular rest periods. You will have mental difficulties such as poor short term memory and difficulty concentrating.

Very severe – Wheelchair bound. You are unable to carry out any daily activities and require constant care. You need best rest for majority of day and you may demonstrate intolerance to noise and bright lights

My aunt can't get out of bed let alone use a wheelchair.
