Pain & CBD (Cannabidiol)?

I can't report on pain, as I don't have any/much, but the CBD oil I've had so far doesn't always get me to sleep or help me sleep through the night.

I'm having about 2 drops each morning (and no more later), but may try more in time. You're supposed to be able to have up to up to 8 drops up to 3 times a day.

That dosage presumably depends on concentrations in particular preparations.

I posted above that I use capsules which have a paste in them. I recently tried a sample of the type of CBD that is reckoned to be more helpful for sleep. They only had it in the oil It does seem effective but it is like taking drops of double strength Camp coffee direct on your tongue. Extremely bitter Y U K. I still might get more though as anything that helps my sleep/night time pain is worth it and I don’t want to be on melatonin and painkillers all the time. I agree it is more effective for aching body pain and not much impact on neuropathic.

The Healthspan one is flavoured with peppermint, and not unpleasant at all.

Organic 8% CBD oil is available on the internet direct from BioBloom in Austria which is considerably cheaper than UK sources. Stronger, so less needed. Supposed to be most effective held under the tongue for as long as possible.

Found them - they're at https://biobloom.at/en/shop/

From a quick look they don't seem cheaper than Healthspan, especially when you add the postage (and the lack of peppermint flavouring?), but my brain isn't working that well at present.

I'm not sure - some days I feel pretty good, and the leg ache is often completely absent, but don't feel great today.

I've settled on 2 drops in the morning and 2 in the evening.

Am carrying on for now.

I've stopped taking it, at least for now. I don't get the feeling that it's helping. I'm getting very bloated (IBS) but don't know for sure if it's due to the cannabinoids.

I have some of what I think is the proper stuff, and that is definitely working in that it makes me stoned and seems to help me sleep, so I take it in the evenings (in food).

After using some cheap oil from a healthfood shop, I bought the most highly recommended oil from the web...and after several months I really don't think it helps in any way :( with pain or ME symptoms.
From now on I will be saving my money...

I’ve tried further with vaping thc stuff, and no positive result. Hate to say it, only thing I’ve found that helps so far is alcohol.

I think the trouble is that you need full spectrum cannabis of the best variety for pain control. Not available in the UK at present. Also a patentable pharmaceutical extract which omits the active co-factors is not a good idea.
