Some great names in evidence there as speakers.
Will this lead to a published review article, I wonder?
FYI, it is possible to register as a "remote participant" (may not be exactly that wording), as opposed to "in-person". I've done so in order to, hopefully, receive updates of when the videocast is available, but I don't think it would be a bad thing for the level of interest to be shown by the number who sign up that way.
That's a good idea! Will do the same.
Registered as remote attendee.
The agenda and list of speakers looks good.
I just had a look at that and I see that the list of attendees is online. I don't know if that's everybody, but not everyone may be happy to be listed.
True but all they display is name, company and title. While first and last name are required, there is nothing to say that you can adopt a pseudonym, and company and title aren't required fields to complete.
It does look an impressive speaker list. I hope they get a good attendance from NIH staffers
I'm a bit surprised that the UK ME/CFS Biobank team are not on the list as they have received significant NIH funding 2013-2021 $500K+ a year
Anyone hear if they are invited to participate even if not presenting?
At a guess they weren't invited? There are a number of people who look to have been invited but, presumably, not confirmed yet - given that Luis Nacul is going all the way to Australia for the Emerge conference it's not like they are shy about travelling so my assumption is that if they had been asked they would have gone.
Thanks @Andy . That makes sense. I'd forgotten they were going to Australia 12-15th March, right before the NIH conference.
I will be there in person
Kaiser Permanente will have a regional director in person at the NIH meeting.
So they all present and then what? Is it going to achieve anything, like funding?
Just found out about this from
It would be nice if they YouTube it afterward but i get the feeling they won't
For those who’ve haven’t checked the agenda since it was originally posted in January it’s grown in speakers, talks, and topics and now the conference is two full days. If I remember correctly the original agenda was 1 1/2 days.
Will anyone else on S4ME be there in person? Would be nice to meet users.
Thanks for the updates and to everyone paying attention to the details of this.
Separate names with a comma.
