Judy Mikovits

I wonder whether it is in anyone's interest to disseminate this video. It is very sad that Judy Mikovits has been unable to accept that she does not understand what she is doing or saying but I for one had hoped that all this stuff was laid to rest.

Does she not understand what she’s doing, or has she no shame about the harm she is willfully doing?

thank you for sharing. That was a good episode I think with a fair presentation of a series of very, very, strange events. It's about her and her radicalisation. ME is mentioned as CFS and as a devastating disease, but not gone into in detail. I've listen to a few of Jon Ronson's audio books and really liked his journalism. I think he did a decent job here as well.

havent the energy to listen to it but am interested to know what the covid conspiracy theory was that arose from the Mikovits events... if anyone knows briefly what that is?
It's more that following the XMRV events, Mikovits became more and more extreme in her stated views until, come the pandemic, she ended up being a full-on anti-vaccine, "it's all a govt plot and Fauci is to blame" conspiracist, who was featured in the Plandemic film.

According to Wikipedia, Mikovits is a former biochemistry research scientist. And now she's a bartender? That is a sad career progression for anyone.

the podcast says she started as a bartender and is good at mixing drinks as a chemist, so she made drinks as a member of a yacht club where she met Whitaker who had a daughter with ME and hired her to solve the disease.

the podcast also says she lost her husband to covid. I was sorry to hear that.

The career change happened by her choice before the whole XMRV fiasco. She met her husband and moved with him and became bar tender in a small sailing club they joined.

The XMRV thing was a result of her meeting the very wealth Whittemore family at the sailing club and getting to know them, and they appointed her to try to find the cause of their daughter's ME. It seemed like the set up the Whittmore institute for her work.
