    They really do need some other occupation to keep them busy....perhaps as a punishment for an appalling example of poor science they should be given scientific community service ...perhaps counting mould colonies on plates for 90 days...or washing glassware in the lab ...we could get them to wear a special unflattering coloured jumpsuit (brown?) so that they stood out from the real scientists? Chanting “shame” while people threw rotting veg at them (preferably okra) would also work?
