I have written to Inside Health , and to Dr Porter and Dr McCartney on several occasions. I've made them aware of the biobank and various conferences. We don't have answers but they could certainly cover the work of the biobank. I decided not to mention PACE because they're paid by the BBC. What I can't understand is why as GPs , they appear not to have any severely affected patients.

Because the illness doesn't just increase the probability of being detained away from social contact. It's also medical contact, which it is entirely rational to avoid wherever possible due to General Practice ignorance infecting the overall treatment process or its assumptions.

I know that avoiding a GP is not always sensible, but the UK medical profession has made avoiding that rational, sadly; encouraged by you know who :(
