Welcome to our study
We have secured funding from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research to look, in the first instance, at the association of SARS-CoV-2 infection with long-term outcomes in children and young people. We will do this by analysing school survey data linked to electronic health record data. For details, see Project 1.

Funding has also been secured in the form of an NIHR Advanced Fellowship to look at the association of infections more generally with long-term outcomes in children and young people, again using school survey data linked to electronic health record data. Under the Fellowship, associations of infections including SARS-CoV-2 will then be applied to all children in England to quantify healthcare burden and cost. For details, see Project 2.

Looks like the Clock team to me. What a terrible waste. IIRC Absoud is a GBD signatory. They literally give open deniers funding to study something they deny, minimize and trivialize. And using healthcare records, which have been shown to be inadequate and not reflective of reality. In fact it has been shown many times to be a distorted source of very incomplete data.

Propaganda. Manufacturing consent. Falsifying records. Blatant lying. Corruption. All the dirty stuff of politics is present in healthcare. Might as well just give it all to financial interests at this point. It's all it serves.

This dude. This dude is part of a research team studying Long Covid in kids. Here he whines that there should be no warnings about LC, especially from public health organizations, and instead they should be speak up about recovery and hope. Absurd. This is like having security administrator turn off security systems and measures because they could scare people. And no one even objects to this, the entire system is OK with this, speaking out is too risky.

There was a famous moment in the Uk during the BSE crisis when a politician fed his young daughter a burger on camera in front of the press.

is that a similar thing?
