30 & 31 May | Invest in ME Research international colloquium

Day One today. I wonder if anyone will be tweeting from it?

The schedule is on this page but I can't provide a direct link to where you have to scroll down and there's some finding and clicking to do so I hope IiMER don't mind that I reproduce the schedule here (I'd much rather see it on a separate tab on their site, which would be much easier, especially for PWME).

#BRMEC8 Day 1 is followed by a researchers' dinner organised by IiMER where more discussions are able to be carried out between researchers.

Are they allowed to tweet from it? I thought the idea of the colloquium was that it's private and just for researchers so they can discuss unpublished research findings and argue with each other about the science out of the public eye. Or maybe it's not as secret as that?

I was hoping that people would tweet within the bounds of keeping those secrets!

It's just nice to feel part of things that are important to us but that we're excluded from (including things that we're just too ill to turn up to). I understand why we're excluded in this instance but...

I agree. I hope there will be lots of tweets from the conference on Saturday which is public. I've ordered the DVD, but that takes a while to come (that's not a complaint - I realise it takes time - I really enjoyed last year's DVD).
