Why LCS? It's still too difficult for people with Long Covid to contribute to the science of curing our condition.

With thousands of scientists working on hundreds of studies worldwide, it can be hard for people with Long Covid to find studies that they might be eligible for. Most studies (in the United States, at least) are listed on ClinicalTrials.gov, a complicated website designed for researchers and regulators — not patients. LCS harnesses the data provided by the ClinicalTrials.gov API, but shows only the most relevant information for patients, in a way that they can more easily understand.

Studies listed in the UK look useless. Most are variations of exercises for breathing or fitness, there's also psychology, acupuncture, HRV biofeedback, and cognitive rehab.

Edit: I have corrected this. When I tried the website I didn't realise the filter was set to select the UK. There are lots of studies for other countries too.

Yep. Cool project to have a database though. I just wish there was a way to inform people about enrolling in potentially harmful stufies.

Studies listed in the UK look useless

If it reassures you the studies look slightly more biomedical/observational here in Switzerland. Although most seem to exclude people with an ME diagnosis.

One tries to measure disease course through exercise capacity (if taking an exercise test every few weeks aint a confounding factor I don’t know what is). I bet that study will say we have very good prognosis while having a very high dropout rate…
