Do we have any forum members who live in Florida?

This action looks worthwhile since there's already a letter that's going to be sent to the NIH. The letter sponsors are just looking to get more signatures.

I find sending email to government officials is a rewarding form of activism. It's not as effective as meeting in person but this is so much easier.

And since there is a template then it's not as difficult as coming up with an entire email from scratch.

Calling is also an option for those who are able to talk on the phone.

Good news! Deadline has been extended to COB tomorrow. We've got 16 signed on already! More than halfway for the complete delegation!

So that's basically told twice over, once from the budget and this extra, telling the NIH to do more.
