You are advised to be careful, but only the subgroup got letters advising not going to work. My letter (I have severe asthma) went to my daughter, as my 'named carer'. It stated it could be used as evidence to show an employer for getting time off work. I've been trying to get my GP practice to send me a letter with my own name and address on it - the response is really showing me how much they don't care about individual patient safety! When this is over (or at least under control) I am going to make a formal complaint to my CCG.That's crazy: asthma is on the list of things you need to be extremely careful with. A GP I know who has it is doing video consultations only - absolutely no person-to-person contact. I hope your TA makes it.

Hello,
You registered as clinically extremely vulnerable, but had not received a letter from the NHS to confirm this. We’ll share your details with the NHS.
If the NHS defines you as clinically extremely vulnerable, the NHS will contact you. Your GP will be informed.
If you told us you need help getting food and supplies, but you are not on the clinically extremely vulnerable list, we’ll share your details with supermarkets. They may be able to help.
If you need support urgently, please contact your local authority.

My plan was to use some of them for shepherd's pies, but I have insufficient freezer space to store them after making them.
I normally use about a kilo of spuds every 3-4 weeks, but if making shepherd's pies then I can do a 2.5kg bag for the topping.
I currently have a chilli in my big pan, made yesterday afternoon, as the first delivered bell pepper and pack of chillies were looking a bit sorry for themselves. Last night for tea I did not have chilli, I had a single pork cutlet, boiled potatoes, and cabbage. Today I was supposed to portion up the chilli between little containers for freezing, and what wouldn't fit in the freezer would go in the fridge.
Tonights tea was supposed to be fish with mash and cabbage - but today has got away from me, and I'm toast, so it's probably going to be chilli, with rice.
That's if I ever get around to turning the stock pot full of chilli on to heat it up.

I have been contacted by many constituents over issues they are facing at supermarkets. Supermarkets have been under considerable strain recently but this should not prevent those most vulnerable and in need from getting basic necessities such as food.
I have written to Sainsbury’s specifically about their online delivery system which has led to those most vulnerable and self-isolating unable to use it.
I am also talking to the Council about the use of supermarkets more broadly to try and resolve ongoing issues being experienced when trying to buy food in person.
There have been some very good practices in some stores but I want to see these adopted by all supermarkets alongside proper protection to their staff. All chains should be communicating with each other to adopt best practices.

People simply don't understand, or maybe believe, that some people can't use a phone.
