Disability, society and me, hosted by Paralympian Claire Harvey MBE

Join Claire Harvey MBE, British Paralympic sportsperson and Head of Diversity and Inclusion at the House of Commons and her guests as she hosts a panel discussion on the 2020 theme for UK Disability History Month; Access: How far have we come? How far have we to go?

The focus of discussion will be panel members' relationship with disability and their day to day lived experience. The panel will explore how social and political adjustments have impacted their lives and what future legislative and cultural changes they would like to see that would allow them full access and participation in society.

This hour-long event is pre-recorded and will be sub-titled. Members of the public who book before 30 November will be offered the opportunity to ask questions in advance when booking their tickets.

This event will be hosted on YouTube and will be available to view for 24 hours from 6pm on Thursday 10 December. We will send full details of how to join the event online following registration.
