Please tweet today (or in the next days) to the German health minister to support German pwME.

You could copy this tweet:
@jensspahn Forschung für #mecfs jetzt!
#millionsmissing #rapforgood

(translation: @jensspahn Research for #mecfs now!
#millionsmissing #rapforgood)

We're trending on Twitter in Germany!

"Rap for good" is an amazing charity concert that takes place in Berlin tonight. 3000 guests and the viewers at the livestream (over 6000 views so far) were told about ME and repeatedly asked to tweet to the German health minister.

THANK YOU for your support! :)

#MillionsMissing Germany is at the concert with an info booth. Donations go to a German ME patient (who is in her 30ies and worked in the music business before she became too sick and is a friend of the artists) and the Open Medicine Foundation.

The music acts are the most popular rap and hip hop artists in Germany. They all played for free. The concert was sold out (3000 tickets). They talked several times about ME/CFS on stage. :) And some of them posted about ME on social media.

It's really disappointing that Twitter has removed the translate tweet option. I still kept most of my languages-I-do-not-speak account follows in the hope that they bring it back later but meanwhile it removes a lot of accessibility.

Makes sharing tweets in another language less useful too. I liked several of those tweets but I'm not always sure what it is I'm amplifying.

Great event, though. Grateful to those participating and hopefully change the dreadful neglect in Germany!

Wow! Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Advocacy seems to be growing in Germany. I hope the situation will improve there.

If you click on the post, it then displays (at least for me) the Translate Tweet link, which if clicked, will provide a Google translation. But I agree, I preferred the old system where the link for a translation displayed in one's feed, without the need to click on the post.

Oh, sweet! Didn't notice it there. Thanks!

There was some media attention for the charity concert (this is a selection).

Great short coverage on national tv: https://www.zdf.de/nachrichten/heute-plus/videos/rap-gegen-erschoepfungs-syndrom-100.html

The same public broadcasting station also tweeted and posted on Facebook:
Ever heard of ME/CFS? Then it's high time. In Germany, 240,000 people suffer from the disease. Rap stars like Marteria, Samy Deluxe or the beginners dedicated a concert in Berlin to them

Article with the headline:
Hip-hop concert with a message:
"Let's kick the health care system's ass together!"

Post from #MillionsMissing Germany:
Our team member Anja told us that the hall was packed and she got goose bumps when VISA VIE welcomed everybody. The good cause was emphasized - why everyone is here! It was about attention for the severe neuroimmunological disease Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also called ME or ME/CFS for short. We were trend on twitter with Jens Spahn - Research for #MECFS Now! #RapForGood #MillionsMissing.

Many were interested - from the geriatric nurse, doctor to students - they came to our #MillionsMissing booth to inform themselves.
