Oh that sounds sad. I think a lot of us would identify with coming to a point where we have to let go of our past profession and the aspirations and plans we had tied to that. For those with expensive annual practising certificates and other professional requirements, I imagine that point is particularly abrupt.

Thanks to the organiser for what they did; I'm sure that they will continue to contribute to the ME/CFS community in one way or another.
