News Article: Court orders Atos to pay disabled woman £5,000 over dishonest PIP assessment

In Germany, a judge's verdict is published, most often online, too. I don't know how it is in the UK. I would be interested in the specifics and on what grounds the court decided in your favor. Maybe I can learn something from that.

Sorry if I should have found this information by myself - help? :)
Oh I see. Well we wrote a formal complaint to atos and gave them a deadline to get back in touch and see where we could go next. ATOS ignored us. So we filed the papers with the court, the court then sent the whole file to atos who once again ignored it within another specified time frame. So as they failed to submit a defence the court found in my favour. Actually I believe they now have a CCJ registered against them.

Actually it was the amount we asked for. And yes it is derisory, but the claim was to highlight attention to our cause, not about the money.
Thanks for confirming. Congratulations on your success. And thank you. We need lots of people like you holding ATOS and others to account. As I said earlier in the thread, I think the amount you were awarded after all that stress and trauma is derisory, but I'm very glad you won the case.

Actually they now have a CCJ registered against them in my name now for the non payment of the award. When I rang to find put what it was all about, (the court sent me a letter confirming atos's details) when I rang the court I said to the adviser, "really? I can do this? But I'm just 1 small person and they're a huge company!" His reply, "nobody is above the law."
That would be the best "The Sheriff's Are Coming" episode in the history of BBC :inlove:
