It's feels a little trite to say 'Thank-you' every time you do a marathon, but I really mean it.
Usual 3 montly update on the challenge for anyone who might be interested.
Next race is 6 weeks away in Paphos, Cyprus (no.20 of 28)
What a great, action-packed update!
The update was a nice read. I also thought the coverage in the Gloustershire media was very good, Rachel did well explaining about ME.
Thanks very much Mike, good luck for Cyprus. Bratislava looks like a lovely place.
I interviewed Mical from Bratislava about life with ME there ahead of my marathon there on April 7th.
We've had 3000 views so far in 24 hours, please share....
Got number 20 done in Cyprus on Sunday. £600 raised from that one in less than 2 months which was really good. Race report on the way....
Next up Bratislava in 2.5 weeks!
Race report for Paphos Marathon, Cyprus now on my site for anyone who wants a gander....
Race report for no.21 in Bratislava, next up is Riga (Latvia) in 4 weeks....
Up to £16226 (62% of target) for Invest In ME.
Quick recap on the challenge for the last 3 months.
I'm struggling with injury and a few confidence issues at the moment but still hoping to be fit for Riga, Latvia on the 19th
Thanks for the update Mike. Don't push yourself too hard. There's always another one later. And you are allowed to stop!
Wow Mike! What an endeavour! I'm immensely impressed with your achievements and the funds and awareness you've been raising.
Take care of yourself.
^^What she said!^^
Thanks for the nice messages all. Had massage tonight and legs feel better, have to see how I recover for the 19th.
Here's my contribution to this month's M.E Awareness activities.
Please share it widely, it's on my facebook page www.facebook.com/mikeseumarathons and twitter https://twitter.com/MikesEUmaras
I ran another one, this time in Latvia (no.22 of 28).
Race report and pics below, £700 raised for Invest In ME within 5 weeks, very happy with that.
Congratulations and thanks Mike!
More congratulations, and thanks from me @Mike Harley!
You were fairly tough on yourself in that early May report @Mike Harley. That's a very busy 6 months you have had, raising Lucy, working, running marathons and advocating for ME. A lot achieved. I'm pretty sure I got through the first 6 months of each of my children's lives in a bit of a blur (and no marathon running was done).
It must have taken a lot of will power to do the Latvian race. Thank you, as always.
Thank you! Was looking for a superhero emoji, but couldn't find one.
My marathon trailer will be played 23 times over 24 hrs at 15 min past the hour from 5.15pm today on Bristol TV.
If you haven't seen it then here it is....
that's fantastic news Mike!
