    In essence, a genetic vulnerability primes the immune system to an inflammatory reponse to radiotherapy in those who develop long term fatigue.

    Interestingly these individuals report no fatigue issues prior to radiotherapy suggesting a 'two-hit' scenario.

    Does this tie in with the Moreau twin study highlighted on another thread by @wigglethemouse which found gluatamate genetics differing from controls?
