A Facebook group for pwME aged over 55 years called MESeniors Connect has been set up and already has over 500 global members.

newly qualified for this this summer and im now a pensioner as well as I had to retire early - still getting used to the idea of being a senior

I had to retire at 54 too (14 years ago). I tried joining U3A and went to a couple of their groups for a while. It was a bit weird in the creative writing group where the writing task one week was wartime memories. Not much use to me, as I was born after the war! The rest of the group were 20 or more years older than me.
