    newly qualified for this this summer and im now a pensioner as well as I had to retire early - still getting used to the idea of being a senior :rolleyes: :wtf:

    I had to retire at 54 too (14 years ago). I tried joining U3A and went to a couple of their groups for a while. It was a bit weird in the creative writing group where the writing task one week was wartime memories. Not much use to me, as I was born after the war! The rest of the group were 20 or more years older than me.
