I'm in my sixties now and have had ME/CFS for 30 years. Recently I noticed my eGFR is sitting on 90 which is the lowest point before showing a deterioration in kidney function.
I was one of those who have experienced increased urine output in PEM and I wonder whether that could have impact on our kidney function eventually in ME. My GP will go through my lab result with me when I visit next but I was wondering whether it is normal to start having deterioration in kidney function when you get older and also wonder if any one else with ME is experiencing a change in kidney function.
