Kidney function in ME/CFS

I'm in my sixties now and have had ME/CFS for 30 years. Recently I noticed my eGFR is sitting on 90 which is the lowest point before showing a deterioration in kidney function.

I was one of those who have experienced increased urine output in PEM and I wonder whether that could have impact on our kidney function eventually in ME. My GP will go through my lab result with me when I visit next but I was wondering whether it is normal to start having deterioration in kidney function when you get older and also wonder if any one else with ME is experiencing a change in kidney function.

Google says:

At age 65, a normal estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) is generally considered to be in the range of 60 to 89 mL/min/1.73 m² (Stage G2). While an eGFR over 90 is considered optimal, kidney function naturally declines after age 30–40 at a rate of 6-7 mL/min per decade, making an average reading of 83–85 common for a 65-year-old

Thanks. I find googling about my health concerns scary so I appreciate your doing it for me! Looks like I am ok then at 62 years. This thread will be a good reference for when I need to relook at this again in the future if need be.
