I couldn't see a thread on this
2023 IACFS/ME Scientific and Medical Conference
July 27 - 29, 9 AM - 5 PM
Student Activities Center, Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY
Early Bird Registration Rates and Discounted University Housing Extended to July 9!
Good to raise it as an issue, but probably best to continue the discussion on this thread: OxaloacetateI have reviewed the conference website and took an interest in the ‘sponsors’, one being oxaloacetate CFS, with their branding of ‘medical food for chronic fatigue syndrome’. Please discuss.
I added to my post that Dr Kaufman will also be presenting at the conference. In my view it represents a conflict of interest, particularly if Kaufman or any authors are also selling the product.Good to raise it as an issue, but probably best to continue the discussion on this thread: Oxaloacetate
We also have a couple of threads on research:
Open USA: RESTORE ME: A RandomizEd Double Blind Placebo Control Trial to Determine the EffectS of OxaloaceTate On ImpRoving FatiguE in ME/CFS
Oxaloacetate Treatment For Mental And Physical Fatigue In (ME/CFS) and Long-COVID fatigue patients, 2022, Cash and Kaufman
That list of speakers is a merry mix of the excellent, the unknown and the 'what were they thinking'
Will you be presenting any new data @DMissa ?
(For the record, I do not class Daniel in the 'what were they thinking' category and he's also not unknown, which only leaves one option)
I certainly wish the conference had more Daniel and less oxaloacetate.I wish I had a lot longer to present...
