I'm not suggesting doing this, I just thought it might be an interesting question to raise.
Could one of these tools be targeted at either a long thread on S4ME, or a topic discussed across several threads, to summarise the discussion points for a busy researcher? Or direct someone with limited reading time towards the most relevant threads on a topic?
Edit after I re-found this thread: I realize that this idea has been discussed here already in some detail --
but not sure if just to have such a tool for the value of the forum at the first place has been implied in the discussion?
so add here the link to a members only thread for
an idea who could perhaps help with that.
And here's the refurbished and maybe redundant idea:
Some recent discussions on the forum on AI reminded me of the idea to do 'running summaries' by staff members on the discussions on the draft NICE guideline.
I thought similar summaries of threads that discuss research papers or discussions on research methodology could be extremely helpful.
So wondering if such summaries now could be done by AI?
Edit: And placed on each second post on the according threads?
Perhaps someone could help develop a good tool -- how to structure the summaries, and feed in some of forum people's collective knowledge (i.e. on incoherent findings of Cortisol levels in pwME, what the 2 day CPET shows and doesn't show etc.) ?
