Slight tangent but i got an e-mail saying its a tax receipt (yea) but being in Canada means my donation was about 25% more then the tax receipt because of the exchange rate. So i wonder if i can claim the amount on the receipt or the amount i actually donated. I will be asking the tax person this next year.
