Don't forget to add in extra for the fees if you can. And @dave30th we really, really appreciate you! Thank you!

Playing to the crowd he vainly (both senses) perceives he is still wooing.

Thank you to all donors.

Particularly like to thank Prof. Michael Sharpe for his outstanding efforts in encouraging people to fund David Tuller's work. Much appreciated, Prof. Sharpe. Very community minded of you. Please do make sure you come back again next funding campaign. :p

Perhaps we should send him a thank you gift, a copy of Unrest or a signed copy of one of the PACE review papers?

Out of curiosity, how much would you need to do this full time, benefits and fees included?

Looks like your revised goal of $85k is within reach, the $5k to be matched are almost covered:)

Twice the amount. My half-time salary/benefits are $73,000, more or less--$47,000 salary, the rest benefits. Full-time would basically be double. Benefits are often calculated about about 40% of at the salary.

Bump. I'm laying here trying to think how I can help come up with the rest for full-time and additional for travel. I wish I had it. Perhaps some of us can play the lotto tomorrow. Wouldn't that be great if one of us won!

It's a bit unfortunate that there have been a few fundraising campaigns so close together.

If they were spread out a bit more then I could manage to give a bit more. All such important causes!

Just made my almost-payday contribution, and allowing myself a self-satisfied little smirk as I see I pushed it through the $80K mark :).

Edit: One more will be 900 donors!

I played around with the map on the donor wall at a time when the total number of donors was 901 and added up the number of donors from each state. That gave 188 US donors so 713 or 79% are from outside the US, I'm guessing largely from the UK. I guess that suggests that the negative impact of the PACE trial is felt more strongly outside the US. Thank you @dave30th for your interest in it!

@BruceInOz there are many names from Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, etc., but then PACE made a big impact all over Europe.

903 donors, looks like the $5000 is covered too - total now $80,210.

I've been wondering if they actually have to answer to anybody, what are they exactly?
