"I also want to thank colleagues at the School of Public Health, who reviewed the PACE trial at my request, were unanimously shocked at its flaws, and encouraged me to pursue the project in the first place. The PACE trial is now used in Berkeley graduate epidemiology seminars as a terrific example of terrible research."

Anyone care to tweet this to Michael Sharpe.

And perhaps if someone could also send it out to all the PACE authors and BPS dignatories.

    Return on Investment: David Tuller

Posted on April 7, 2018 by Jennie Spotila
When journalist David Tuller asked for crowdfunding in 2017 to support his research and writing on ME for a year, he had already demonstrated his commitment to a rigorous examination of the many problems and issues associated with the PACE trial. That crowdfunding campaign was successful in part because of his track record and determination to continue working on this story.

Tuller has now launched a 2018 campaign to fund his work for another year, and I believe he has more than proven that he is worth the investment."

And this was Michael Sharpe's comment.
It prompted me to give a second donation to Tuller

Thanks for pointing that out @Kalliope . I just realized the date my credit card statement falls means I could manage a second donation.

I think I shall donate again in honour of Sharpe.

Spring must be here, because Prof. Sharpe clearly hears the ice cracking beneath his feet

It's a shame there doesn't seem to be a way to make a Tuller donation in Michael Sharpe's name. ;)

    Isn't it just?

I was thinking of chucking in a extra few quid so Dave Tuller could send him a thank you card for all the additional funds he'll raise. :D

How much is postage from California to the UK? Anyone?
