Facing the first winter since the vaccines started without one, first turned down in spring so very much unprotected (vaccine wise) bedbound and unable to find a service so far that will come to me even paying for it myself, at a complete loss of what to do, mum contacted ICB board and they have confirmed in not eligible and my gps are refusing, the situation is terrible in the uk

So sorry you're having a hard time getting vaccinated, @Beth. I hope something works out for you.

Still recommended and free for all here in Australia, though not compulsory.

I just had a booster on Monday, and it has knocked me about a bit. Nothing too serious, but I have had better weeks.

I got the updated Novavax vaccine today at CVS in Austin. They took me as a walk in. So far, no real side effects other than sleepiness. I'm glad to have gotten it since I'll be traveling soon.

I’m going to get my Covid vaccine next week and then flu vaccine 2 weeks later hopefully. I didn’t want to get them together as I worried they could affect my immune system too much.

Anyone here get both done together?

I've had them both together several times, one in each arm. No more reaction than I usually get to one on its own. Usually just a bit feverish for a day or so and sore arm.

I had both at the same time on different arms. The flu-shot arm was a bit sore but not the Covid arm. No other symptoms.

Yes there is no approval for Novavax this time. Not that the prior approvals were all that helpful they were often delayed by half a year or more.

Just received COVID-19 booster (Novavax this time, all previous jabs have been Moderna) and the flu jab. Last year the worst that happened was a day of being unable to lift my arm due to an aching shoulder - hoping for no worse this time around.
