    Well written.

I can relate to what she said about the passage of time. Just the other day I was thinking how a conversation I had with a friend had happened "a few weeks ago" when in fact it was 4 years ago. I am always puzzled when somebody can't remember an interaction we had, or the specifics of what was said, but then I remember that in their life millions of events happened since then whereas in my life hardly anything happened so it all seems more salient and fresh to me. Becoming housebound or largely housebound feels like you don't really exist anymore.

Lovely. And no bright colours on the screen that you have to cover up before you can start reading...always a bonus!

I've caught myself several times talking to my sisters about events that happened to me (us) in the 80's and early 90's, and how their expression changed, it was like they weren't sure why I brought it up.

They fly around the world and I haven't travelled since 1989.

I remember discussing the whole being stuck at home bit with an assessor and telling them, while it might be nice not having to get up early on a miserable grey Monday morning and battle into work with everyone else, it also meant I never got to have that Friday afternoon feeling.
