Interesting. This seems to be a less severe form of dementia that mainly affects memory in older people in their 80s Which is what most of the public think dementia is as they might have had a granny who lost their memory in their last couple of years.
That’s vastly different in impact to the wide range of physical and neurological symptoms you get with Alzheimer’s Vascular Dementia Picks etc. And which can impact at a much younger age. And depending on the speed of progression the person either dies younger or lives for many years with the illness with very low to no quality of life.
