I think most of us are in agreement that the tin is mislabelled. AFAIR none of diagnostic criteria require muscle pain.

Pain is one of the worst symptoms for me but it never feels like muscle or joint pain. It’s all over pain, as though my body is screaming for something it can’t get. But I know other people get muscle pain and other type of pain, and some get no pain at all. Hopefully Jo’s proposed mechanism will account for all these variations.

Can you list some of them?
Worthwhile for those of us who have read it to be told what to “forget”:

I'd prefer not to revisit the book if I can avoid it.

Are we nearly there yet? Starting to wonder if somebody has invited the editor out for a beer!

They have put out 8 new preprints today.
Maybe one over the eight is too many for their health and safety regulations.

Or their AI caught fire after trying to process common sense and ME/CFS at the same time.

To be fair, isn’t Qeios non-profit and has basically zero revenue streams? So it probably relies a lot on volunteers?

Have you checked they have received it?
Different situation, but Cochrane managed to lose one of our appeals, despite their technology confirming it had been received by their system. I resubmitted.

They have a revenue stream. Authors who want to send stuff to Qeios regularly, as I do, can pay a small monthly charge. It is way less than the page charges from the open access commercial journals (maybe 100 times less per paper). It may be that their business model is not coping though. I am a bit surprised that I have not had an automated message notifying of a delay.

I had an acknowledgement. And it clearly isn't just my paper. Nothing was put out for 4 days last week and they normally put something out every day.

I hope that this isn't the week that Qeios has chosen to collapse.
