Really worth a read. A lot of great ideas expressed about the experience of living with ME on the psyche, and how one changes and copes. I found it precisely how I myself have experienced it, he describes how I think about my situation. I have lost my ability to write well and express myself, so it’s great to find others who can express it so eloquently.

 

Could have worded that better, like described it as an adverse reaction to exercise or exertion. I skimmed the article and found no mention of LTSE which is disappointing.

 

This is a positive change from past Quillette articles (which often have a particular "neo-liberal" political bias)
