I think this just evidences @Jonathan Edwards comments re MRC.
Subsets would only be relevent if they could be identified pre exercise.
It never ceases to amaze me that If the starting point is to " first do no harm" , if you cannot identify who will be harmed, how is any " treatment" ethical.
This is not a bit of extra muscle ache!

What constitutes a full neurological examination.
Our diagnosis ( default CFS) was by paediatrician - i can' anythingt recall remotely neurological in her examination
Eta read post explaining. Don' t think as full an exam.as suggested was done. Deteriorated since then anyway.
For many getting any kind of referral from a GP is difficult. That alone may skew things.
If it is not something that has an association then who will look for it?
I do wonder, though perhaps ethically difficult, if actimetry and some form of video would work .

I suspect that the supportive variety of CBT can be a helpful tool.
The issue is that people are not aware that there is a different type, so will have more trouble understanding why someone would refuse it.

Given the impact of this research can anyone bring it to the attention of biomedical/ exercise specialists for comment. Perhaps thus weeks conference is an opportunity.
This is really dangerous . Too many children have not recovered from similar rehabilitation.
