Women Are More Likely Than Men to Die From a Heart Attack

According to the Women’s Health Advisor from Weill Cornell Medicine:

Starting at age 40, a woman’s heart health begins to decline. The risk rises with age and accelerates after menopause. After age 75, a woman’s risk of heart attack is higher than a man’s.

In reality, a woman’s heart attack is more likely to be fatal. That’s because women tend to have heart attacks at least 10 years later than men, when they are older and more likely to have other medical problems.

They may also present with fatigue and breathlessness, not chest pain.

So the MUS project will also make it more likely that these cases are fobbed off to therapy and more people will die for being denied basic medical care. The stubborn belief that this is all harmless is incredibly misguided, especially as the problems will largely go unnoticed because no proper records are kept once people are discharged.

There might be evidence of a problem when the Office of National Statistics puts together the causes of death statistics. But then they will probably just interpret this as people (mainly women) ignoring all the "good" advice from the government i.e. lower cholesterol, avoid "artery-clogging saturated fat", take statins, exercise, lose weight, lower your salt intake, eat lots of "heart-healthy whole grains".
