Public Why don't we have more UK whistleblowers? A possible answer.

People often wonder why we don't have many whistleblowers who come forward about bad treatments and practices in the UK. Here's what recently happened to a Dr who did try to whistleblow. He got threatened with an unpayable legal bill if he did not win his case.

It seems his concerns were well founded.

Interesting to see the allegation (in the full article) that there was also that old favourite, the threat of a wasted costs application and referral to the legal regulator, against his lawyers.
