in my case having to go to a benefits tribunal for esa (uk employment support allowance ) it was a case of you have won but also a kick in the teeth for all the things you have lost a very miserable experience .
Yeah, each time you fill in one of those forms ESA or PIP it really rubs your nose in how little you can actually achieve. There is literally no thought given to the psychological impact of having to fill em in again and again.
It really strikes me when people waffle on about the psychological ill effects of the pandemic those who are healthy & furloughed not being able to go iut for a meal or on holiday etc.
I know there are plenty with serious financial worries and who have lost loved ones - I'm not referring to those.
It's the others with no great immediate, significant worries who've had they're wings clipped.
Try having your wings clipped, feeling extremely ill 24/7 and tge negative psych effects of going through the benefits system, then talk to me about it.
