USA: UC Health to present Systemwide Grand Rounds on Long COVID on October 14

Faculty and staff in the UCSF School of Pharmacy are encouraged attend the upcoming UC Health systemwide virtual Grand Rounds on the topic of Long COVID, hosted by the UC Irvine School of Medicine.

The Grand Rounds will be held on Friday, October 14, 12-1 p.m. (Pacific time), and will focus on diagnosis, lab screenings, and care management for patients with long-term, COVID-related rheumatological and autoimmune conditions, including Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS).
The presentation will feature Anne F. Foster, MD, MPH, vice president and chief clinical strategy officer for UC Health; Susan J. Lee, MD, from the UC San Diego Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology; and Lucinda Bateman, MD, medical director of Bateman Horne Center. Lee will discuss the rheumatologic impact of Long COVID and Bateman will dive into the details of ME/CFS diagnosis and management.
