UK - NHS England. COVID-19 Post-Covid Assessment Service This publication contains information on activity and demographics of patients who have been referred to a Post-Covid (Long Covid) assessment clinic in England. It includes data at both national and regional level. Background Information These statistics form part of a new data collection established following the introduction of Post-Covid assessment clinics. It is anticipated that further metrics will be added as services continue to develop. As this is a relatively new data collection and this is experimental data some variation may be due to incomplete data submissions. We are working with all clinics to continuously improve data quality. Please note that the data file for the period 27 September 2021 – 24 October 2021 has been revised from earlier published versions. As noted above, this remains a new data collection and we are working to continuously improve data quality and accuracy. From 25 April 2022, updated data collection definitions were introduced to provide additional clarity on the inclusion and exclusion criteria for initial specialist appointments and rejected referrals. Updated definitions can be found in the glossary tab of the data file. https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/covid-19-post-covid-assessment-service/ .............................................
