UK: All-Party Parliamentary Group for Disability

Andy

Retired committee member
The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Disability is a cross-party group of members of parliament from both the commons and the lords. Focusing on the issues that affect all disabled people regardless of their disability, impairment, or health condition. Founded in 1969 it has since become one of the largest and most active All Party Groups.

The APPG for Disability calls on the experience and expertise of the disabled community to take leadership and control in developing policy: across society, organisations, and exercising choice in every aspect of our own lives.

The APPG for Disability provides a valuable opportunity for parliamentarians to engage with individuals and organisations outside parliament who share an interest in disability related issues.
