I dunno, this has been used for bladder cancer for decades (FDA approval 1990). So while the idea of using it for things other than TB is fairly old, it's not been approved for anything else (I'm not sure if it's used at all in other cancers?). My money is on hype but anything is possible. Really lazy reporting here on cohort studies showing lower rates of lung cancer or Alzheimer's in different studies. This is an obvious form of p-hacking. Like, yeah, you give people a shot or placebo and decades later tally up who got what diseases... well no shit that among *all* diseases there are a few that are different between groups. Let me know if one group lived way longer or had fewer cancers overall or became way more wealthy or something.

Science by twitter “experts”. Vaccinating us. What could possibly go wrong? (all the people who got ME triggered by other vaccines and put into severe disability)
