The Significance of Mast Cell Activation in the Era of Precision Medicine., Weinstock et al 2018

Interesting. This has potential. (Also: sci-hub rules)

Digestive issues in ME are common but nothing seems to be understood about them. It seems so detached from the other known issues in the immune and metabolic systems so it should hopefully not lead to some diagnosis confusion or research dead-ends.

Hopefully this helps keep IBS sufferers safe from the psychosophists if it pans out. They are often lumped in with us in the MUS.
Recognition of MCAS can provide new answers and treatment for the “IBS” patient with or without other syndromes commonly associated with IBS such as fbromyalgia, interstitial cystitis, brain fog, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Precision medicine in diarrhea and IBS-diarrhea is possible but should also include MCAS in the diferential diagnosis.

Hmm-looks interesting but for some reason the sci hub link doesn’t open for me. They rarely do. Anyone know why that might be, or am I missing something very obvious that you have to do to acccess them? Am using the safari browser on an iPad.

Where are you located? Some internet providers are blocking sci-hub. You should be able to overcome this by using Tor browser on PC/mac or try Onion browser on iOS. I'm on android so I don't know how well that app works.
