The Canary: More coverage of Wilshire et al's latest PACE study

I like the Canary because i like the 'call it out' attitude, but i do wish they wouldnt make such basic factual errors as calling it the 'PACE trials' - it was one trial. I'm also not sure if all the article is factually accurate, especially the details in comparing the data. But i'm foggy n confused, can someone else read it n check.

I'd also argue that they declared war the day they published McEvedy & Beard (in 1970? was it) & listened to it. But their warfare has become ever more insidious, devious & powerful. And cowardly, with all their 'vexatious'/'harassment' crap.

The war is no longer fought on BPS terms backed by the establishment and a narrative controlled by @SMC_London it has gone global with media sharing outside of the bubble. The scientific debate is moving on with articles such as this unthinkable before the tide began changing it will leave the Wessely cabal looking like Canute holding back the waves. It takes time for high tide so patience will be essential during this time but it cannot be stopped from happening, even moving onto drier ground of MUS will be submerged eventually.

Maybe they called it trials in the heading as in the trials of the PACE trial. They have got it right through the rest of the document.

I like the article as it hammers home a message and brings some of the other background into the story which frames it better for people ie that there is a link to DWP and financial implications

I like The Canary's reporting on ME-related issues, as the journalists go the extra mile by providing supplementary info and reporting in the broader context of chronic illness and disability, the biopsychosocial model etc. They're also willing to make and point out corrections of any mistakes.
