I found this fascinating. I've always felt a rhythm to my illness and that my body was doing things at certain times of the day. I haven't done anything in the morning since 1991.

If the body is on a circadian clock, then invasion of the body — whether by a parasite, virus or bacterium — may be governed by a clock as well, either in the host or in the invader. Embracing this may lead to a reconception of the basic biology of infection and immunity as a time-sensitive dynamic that varies with the hour of the day.
