Until a few days ago, I did not know this award existed. I found this description of the co-winners of the prize. work to be interesting and a worthwhile read. This is one area where mouse models have contributed towards advancing the understanding of the human physiology. The complexity of the human nervous system just stuns me. I deal debilitating allodynia so it’s a comfort to read about these scientific advances. A well-deserved award.
