Lately I sometimes have, upon awakening, a spinal cord I feel a shiver through and it is warm. The shivering lasts a few seconds while the warmth a minute, maybe two.

The only time I had this was coming off Cymbalta many years ago. It happened during the day. But, it was hot and caused a lot of pain throughout my muscles as well as spinal cord to the point of crying.

Does anyone else have a warm and shivering feeling spinal cord?

It sounds unpleasant, but I'm not sure we have sensory nerve endings within the spinal cord itself that would be able to tell us whether the spinal cord is 'feeling' anything. I assume you mean feelings in the region of the spine.

Do you feel it all the way from the top of the neck to the base of the spine? I have no idea what would cause it.
